Sierra Ferrell is an American country-folk singer-songwriter whose sound draws on Appalachian music, blues, folk, country, and Western swing. Before signing with Rounder Records, she spent years traveling and busking across the United States—an experience that helped shape the distinctive, roots-oriented style heard in her recordings.
